Monica Sondej
Monica Sondej was always drawn to spirituality at an early age. My pursuit of God led me down paths that I might not have chosen. From religious experiences that could have dissuaded me from any practice of following God, I never abandoned my faith. Later in years, I was drawn to the world of metaphysical practice and became a Reiki Master volunteering in a local hospital. Due to this lifetime of interest in religion and spirituality, it led me to not ignore feelings and signs that were manifested at the time of a former love’s death to write a memoir of my experience going through grief. My years of raising 3 children and now a grandmother of 7 are my greatest reward.
Services / Activities
I was a proficient assistant in the offices I worked from legal, corporate, academic and business manager. I now enjoy working in the Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter Museum finding a true passion for history. I tried a few years of making delectable torta’s from my Norther Italian heritage to market. I have contributed many years to volunteering once with the Jesuits in Micronesia and as a teaching assistant in the Cook Islands. My love of travel has never died. In my spare time, I love golf and pickleball – two sports challenging focus, balance and hand-eye coordination.
